Xiao Wang

Violinist

Praised by The New York Times as an “excellent violinist,” Xiao Wang is the first-prize winner of the 2012 Szigeti International Violin Competition and has received accolades from prestigious competitions like the Queen Elizabeth and Seoul International Competitions. He has performed as a soloist at renowned venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, Gewandhaus, and the National Center for Performing Arts in Beijing, collaborating with distinguished conductors and orchestras. As a chamber musician, he has worked with members of top ensembles and faculties from leading music institutions. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and the Curtis Institute, he studied under Weidong Tong, Joseph Silverstein, and Lucie Robert.
